Content Guidelines

Required: Assure any identifiable patient photo has photo consent and HIPAA Authorization. If these are not obtained, the photo will need to be de-identified so the patient cannot be identified.

Example:

insert a black box over patient face and tattoo.

Required: Assure any images being used have releases. If images are pulled from the internet, the citation will need to be under the image.

Logos on clothes, shoes, and medical devices should be blacked out unless approved. If photos of a helicopter or fire truck with brand names or call numbers are displayed without photo consent, the call numbers and brand should be blacked out.

Substitute a brand name of a product with its generic name.

Example:

RECELL will need to be mentioned by its generic name (autologous skin cell suspension)

Speaker Deck Length

For a 15 minute presentation, limit your number of slides from 24 to 34.
