Guide for collecting your CME
This guide shows you all of the steps that you need to complete in order to register on our website, activate your REACH Burn Foundation CME account, take your CME quizzes, and collect your CME Certificates. If you follow this guide and still are having problems, contact us and describe your problem, and we will help you out as soon as we can.
How to register for your REACH Burn Foundation CME Account
Create your REACH Burn Foundation CME acccount by filling out all of the fields on our registration page. Be sure to enter the correct birth month and day, as well as your State of Licensure and ID/NPI, otherwise we may not be able to submit your CME to certain agencies on your behalf (if that is an option for us to do). Create a “strong” strength password.
Upon successful submission of your account creation information, our system will automatically sent you an activation message to the email address you entered in the account creation form. You will not be able to complete your CME quizzes until you confirm your email address.
Log in to your REACH Burn Foundation CME Account
On the login page, enter the email address and password you entered on your account creation form, then select the “Log In” button. If you are getting “invalid password” errors, we strongly recommend that you try the following:
- Try logging in or resetting your password using a different device.
- Try using private/incognito mode in your web browser.
Take your CME Quizzes
In our navigation, go to the “Continuing Education” text, then select “Conference-Based Continuing Education”, then select the conference that you attended. Please note it is required that you need to have been in attendance at the conference you are requesting CME for.
Once you have logged in and navigated to your Conference page, review the bullet points that explain the process of collecting your CME for each day of the conference you attended. Then scroll down to the “Daily CME Quizzes” section and select “Answer CME Questions” to take the short quiz based on selected content that day’s CME-eligible presentations.
After you’ve selected the day you’d like to start answering CME questions for, select the quiz under the “Course Content” heading to start your quiz.
Answer the short set of multiple choice questions. After answering each question, click the blue “Check” button in the lower right of the page. Our system will check your answer and tell you if you answered the question correctly.
All questions will need to be answered correctly in order to complete the requirements for collecting a specific day’s CME. If you answer a question incorrectly, you will have the option to “re-take” your quiz an unlimited number of times until you correctly answer all questions.
After answering all questions in a daily CME quiz, select the blue “Quiz Summary” button, then the “Finish Quiz” button on the following screen.
If you need to retake your quiz, select the green “Restart Quiz” button, and you will have the opportunity to re-answer the questions you answered incorrectly. Please note that our system will only display the incorrectly-answered questions to you.
Upon successful completion of a day’s CME quiz (congratulations, by the way!), you will see a page that gives you links to the next day of a conference’s CME, as well as a link to the “My Certificates” page.
Access your CME Certificates
An alternate way to access your automatically-generated certificates is to hover over the “Continuing Education” navigation text, then select “My Certificates” to take you to the page that collects all of your conference CME certificates.
The “My Certificates” page will list all of the CME quizzes you have passed. Selecting any of the links you see will open up each certificate in a new window/tab of your web browser.
You will be able to download each CME certificate you’ve earned. If your certificate does not automatically start downloading, select the “download” icon in the top right of your browser to download it. Then you will be able to submit your certificates to the relevant agencies that require you to gain your CME. This page will dynamically update every time you log in and earn CME credit through REACH Burn Foundation’s website.
