The REACH Burn Foundation aims to provide continuing medical education to burn-related professionals in hopes of facilitating multiple strategies to aid in the recovery and better outcomes for burned patients. We support educational activities and programs that are meant to improve competencies on the complex topics affecting burn and complex wound patients.

This education is done by active learning of data-driven practices in clinical care, lectures by experts in the field of burns and creative learning experiences to improve knowledge. Furthermore, as medicine has become an increasingly complex field, key competencies include conducting functional assessments of work environments and enhancing the delivery of care to burn and complex wound patients. Knowledge is then evaluated and strategies provided to put evolving knowledge into practice.

Overall evaluation of outcomes in burn patients’ lives is the ultimate measure of continuing medical education success.
