Set against the picturesque backdrop of Breckenridge, Colorado, we will be hosting the inaugural 2024 Fall Retreat, “REACH for Resilience,” from September 2-5. This event is meticulously designed to empower adult burn survivors through adaptive sports, therapeutic workshops, and peer support circles.
The retreat will kick off with opening remarks from John O’Leary, a renowned motivational speaker, best-selling author, and burn survivor who has inspired millions with his story of resilience and hope. Additionally, we are thrilled to have J.R. Martinez, an acclaimed actor, motivational speaker, and fellow burn survivor, sharing his inspiring journey and insights.
Leveraging deep insights from experts within the burn community, our programs cater to each participant’s interests and abilities. Participants will return home with increased confidence, a sense of accomplishment, and new friends – moving from surviving to thriving.
